54 year old woman initially presented with hemodynamically stable, sustained monoform VT at a rate of 160 per minute. Her first recorded blood pressure was 130/60 mm Hg. Although she felt unwell and was aware of palpitation, she had not had presyncope or syncope. She had no recent anginal chest pain and did not have chest pain during ventricular tachycardia. She was electrically cardioverted.
